DOMESTIC VIOLENCE & ANGER MANAGEMENT
For over a decade, Evergreen Manor has been serving our clients and the community through a short-term Anger Management class as well as through a comprehensive Domestic Violence Treatment Program.
DOMESTIC VIOLENCE PERPETRATOR TREATMENT
This program is for persons who attempt to gain power and control over another through intimidation, isolation, emotional manipulation, coercion and threats as well as physical violence. This is a year-long program of education, group therapy, and individual counseling. The program is certified by the DSHS Children’s Administration.
Goals of the program are:
ANGER MANAGEMENT CLASSES
This 12-week class is designed to help individuals who have trouble controlling their temper but do not exhibit the control issues of a DV perpetrator. Persons in this course may also be in chemical dependency treatment and have found that anger is a trigger for relapse. The program provides education and exercises designed to improve self-awareness and improve communication.
